This page explains what information Seniors Tips (seniorstips.com) collects when you visit, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Visiting the Site
Like every website, our web server keeps standard technical logs – such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested – to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept on our hosting provider’s servers for a limited time and are not used to identify you.
To see which articles are popular, we count visits with Koko Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that runs on our own server. It uses no cookies, doesn’t track you across other websites, and doesn’t share any data with third parties. We see totals – for example, how many people read an article – not who you are.
We don’t use advertising trackers, social media pixels or third-party analytics, and our pages load their fonts and images from our own server.
Contacting Us
If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you enter, by email. We use them only to reply to you, and we never sell or share them. The form includes a hidden spam check that doesn’t use cookies or send your details anywhere else.
Our Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address, the date you signed up and your confirmation in our own website database. We send you a confirmation email first, and you are only added to the list after you click the link in it. Newsletters are sent from our own server; we don’t use an outside mailing service and we never sell or share your address.
To see which tips are most useful, our newsletter software records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. Every email has an unsubscribe link; one click removes you from the list. You can also contact us and ask us to delete your details.
Comments and Accounts
Comments are switched off, and visitors don’t need an account to read the site.
Buying a Guide
If we offer a guide for sale, checkout happens on Gumroad. On those product pages, a small Gumroad script loads so the checkout can open. Gumroad handles your payment details under its own privacy policy – we never see your card number.
Links to Other Sites
Our articles link to government agencies, health organizations and other sources. When you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
Your Choices and Questions
If you’ve contacted us and would like us to delete your message, or you have any question about this policy, please get in touch. We may update this page from time to time; the date at the top shows when it last changed.
